Accessibility Conference Fukuoka 2026
Overview
A rare single-theme regional conference devoted to web accessibility and inclusive design. It has drawn more than 500 registrants every year since its 2023 debut. Admission is free and the event streams both a standard and an access-supported feed on YouTube, so the operation itself embodies its subject. It incorporated as a general incorporated association in August 2025.

SPI Japan 2026
A specialist software process improvement conference run by the Japan SPI Consortium (JASPIC) since 2000. It travels to a different host city each year, and in 2026 runs for three days at AOSSA in Fukui City. Built around corporate improvement case studies and tutorials, its ¥40,000 main-conference fee marks it as a dense, practitioner-facing event.
GREE Tech Conference 2026
A technology conference hosted by GREE Holdings under the theme "How We Build", framed around the process of development rather than the finished product. Three parallel tracks cover AI, data analysis, game development, infrastructure, and security, with a keynote by the company's Masaki Fujimoto. Free to attend in a hybrid format, including seats that come with an office tour.
Kaigi on Rails 2026
Japan's largest conference for Ruby on Rails users, positioned as "a web technology conference enjoyable for everyone from beginners to experts" with a strong focus on practical, production-grounded sessions. The 2026 edition runs two keynotes — Ruby creator Yukihiro Matsumoto on day one and Rails creator DHH on day two. It continues its hybrid format with several hundred on-site attendees.
