The largest open source community event in the Kansai region, running since 2002. A volunteer executive committee keeps the barrier low with free admission and no attendee registration. The two-day structure devotes day one to an invited keynote and an evening reception, day two to user-organized seminars, stage talks and booth exhibits. Its scope has widened beyond software, extending the idea of "open" to open hardware and open data.
Program
- Day 1 is an eve event with an invited talk by Atsuo Inomata and a networking party
- Day 2 features user-organized seminars (50 min slots), stage talks (15 min slots), booth exhibits and an invited talk by Makiko Takakura
- On Day 2 the stage runs in parallel with 6 seminar rooms (Multipurpose Room, Showcase 1-3, Salon, 6F PC Room)
- Exhibit, seminar and stage slots are open for free applications
