Overview

A tech conference styled as a "festival by PHPers, for PHPers." Since its 2018 debut it has built a devoted following through its emphasis on attendee interaction — code battles, unconferences, and hallway conversations alongside talks. The 2026 edition ran three days, March 20-22, in Nakano as an offline-online hybrid.

Speakers

  • Tomoki Hasegawa (organizing chair, tomzoh)
  • Hideki Kinjyo (2026 speaker)
  • Hiroyuki Yamaoka (2026 "PHPer Book Revue" speaker)

Founder
First held in Nerima in March 2018 by community volunteers led by organizing chair Tomoki Hasegawa (tomzoh)

Created as a "festival-style" conference where past, present, and future PHPers share know-how through mutual interaction rather than passive listening.

Transition

  1. 2018 First held in Nerima (Coconeri)
  2. 2024 Moved the venue to Nakano Central Park Conference
  3. 2025 Held March 21-23
  4. 2026 Held March 20-22 in Nakano as a hybrid event, with the code battle qualifier run online

Voices

A dense three days where hallway and after-party discussions were as valuable as the sessions themselves.
An exceptionally moving event that prompts reflection on technology, PHP, and what it means to be an engineer.
Even as a first-timer debuting in the Rookies LT track, the community's welcoming atmosphere pushed me forward.
Helped run reception while picking up insights on layering and test design (from Munakata's report, in Japanese)
Spoke on building a PHP APM with the OpenTelemetry SDK, deepening their observability skills (from Futoshi Endo's report, in Japanese)
Attended as both speaker and listener, bringing performance-tuning and CI-speedup insights back to daily work and finding the networking at the after-party energizing (from P-yama of GO Inc.'s report, in Japanese)
